Miami Micro-Show Recap
Check out Sean Pajot’s Micro-Show Recap.
Miami Micro-Show was a spectacle unlike any other. 10 minutes before kick-off, the space took on the tone and vibe of a competitive reality show. Contestants periodically shouted how much time was left, while frantically plugging in, tuning and trying to figure out why their gear wasn’t working. We started at exactly 10:45 and two acts were still on their way. While we didn’t exactly achieve 15 bands in 15 minutes (14 in 16 was the final count), the attempt was exhilarating, the audience was enraptured, and the performances were astounding in their creativity, wit, and dynamic execution.
Big thanks to the end for providing the ideal space.
FUN flew from Philadelphia, PA to Miami, FL to perform for one minute. They are the keepers of the Micro-Show, and brought a clock to keep everyone in line. Earlier in the day, FUN performed on WVUM (THANK YOU GIO!) and we’ll have a recording of the performance for you shortly. We are not in the business of jinxing, but keep your eyeballs extra peeled for future FUN/Roofless collaborations.
